By Dave Daubert

KemperSports has selected Kris Anderson to serve as general manager of Reston National Golf Course in Reston, Virginia. In this role, Kris will oversee business and golf operations and lead the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

"Kris' expertise in the golf industry and background with KemperSports will serve him well in this new role at Reston," said Matt Lindley, vice president of operations at KemperSports, which assumed management of Reston National Golf Course this summer. "We are excited to welcome Kris to Reston and we look forward to a successful year ahead for the property under his guidance."

Anderson has nearly 20 years of golf industry experience and most recently served as the general manager at Holly Hills Country Club in Ijamsville, Maryland. A KemperSports staffer for over a decade, Anderson has been recognized for outstanding customer service and member satisfaction. While at Holly Hills, Kris successfully increased revenue and EBITDA in four out of his five years as general manager. He is a member of the PGA apprentice program and is a certified trainer for KemperSports' proprietary True Service program.

Located near Washington, D.C., Reston National Golf Course's 18-hole championship layout, which sits on the Chesapeake Bay watershed, ranks among northern Virginia's favorite classic golf. Designed by the legendary Ed Ault, the 166-acre layout spans more than 6,800 yards from the back tees and plays to a par-71. Facility amenities include a driving range, practice facility, a comfortable grill room and covered pavilion with seating for 150.
